Sunraysia Eye Therapy is the only Orthoptic service based in Mildura. It is operated by Alyse Ross who has 14 years of Orthoptic experience working with paediatrics and adults in Australia and the UK.

What is an Orthoptist?

Orthoptists are university trained Allied Health Professionals who are experts in assessing and treating conditions which affect how the eyes move and work together.

Orthoptists can help with any of the following:

• Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) Management

• Failed school vision screening

• Strabismus (turning of the eyes)

• Double vision

• Eye strain, Headaches and Blurred vision which is not fixed by glasses

• Patients struggling with visual symptoms post traumatic brain injury and concussion

These conditions can be treated and managed through non surgical methods like eye patches, eye exercises, prism fittings and glasses.

We collaborate with Eye Doctors and local Optometrists and other Allied Health Professionals to provide comprehensive eye care.
